How long should I stay in?

It's recommended to maintain the water temperature in the range of 50°F to 59°F (10°C to 15°C) for an ice bath. Start with a session lasting around 3 to 5 minutes, and gradually extend the time up as your body becomes accustomed to the cold. Everybody handles the cold different. Always pay attention to your comfort level and avoid overexposure.

How Much Ice do I Need?

For optimal results, consider adding 10-20 lbs of ice to the tub per session, adjusting based on the initial water temperature using our included thermometer. Ice requirements do change based on how cold the water coming from your faucet is, current temperature, and desired chilliness. Our 5 layer insulated design, extends cold retention, potentially reducing subsequent ice additions.

TIP: Many of our customers freeze 4-8 water bottles and toss them in 10-15 minutes before they plunge. Instant reusable ice. Genius!

How do I Assemble it?

I'm New to this, What Temperature do you recommend?

The recommended temperature for an ice bath tub typically ranges between 50°F (10°C) and 59°F (15°C). This temperature range provides the desired cold exposure without being excessively uncomfortable or posing a significant risk to health. However, individual preferences and tolerances may vary, so it's important to start with a temperature that feels manageable and gradually adjust it based on your comfort level. Always prioritize safety and consult with a healthcare professional, especially if you have any underlying health conditions.

When is the best time to use my tub?

Ice baths can be beneficial after intense workouts to aid muscle recovery. Many of our customers prefer using it in the morning for an energizing start to their day.

How often should I use the tub?

Frequency varies. Starting with 1-2 sessions per week is advisable, but it depends on your goals and comfort level. Avoid excessive use to prevent overexposure.

How do I Drain it?

Included with our tub is an externally pre-installed drain valve, complemented by a flexible hose for precise water direction. Additionally, a secondary bottom valve guarantees thorough drainage, leaving no residual water.

How do I Clean it?

Maintaining the cleanliness and longevity of your tub is easy, we recommend the following:

  • Gentle Cleansing: Thoroughly cleanse the emptied ice bath using a mild detergent and warm water. Use a soft cloth or sponge to reach all surfaces, including corners and crevices prone to dirt and bacteria accumulation.
  • Rinse Thoroughly: To eliminate soap residue, rinse the ice bath diligently with clean water. This practice prevents skin irritation and discomfort.
